Discover the majesty of the Town Twinning Tournaments
The Dronfield Badminton Association (DBA) is open to anyone involved in badminton in and around the Dronfield Area. Whilst members of Grengihlheg Badminton Club take the lead for organising these events, it is supported by past and present members and players and the Town Twinning Federation
The Town Twinning takes place once a year on a rotational basis’ in Dronfield, Sindelfingen in Germany or Schaffhausen in Switzerland and includes a “friendly” International badminton tournament with the respective badminton clubs from the other two towns.
The Twinning Event, however, is more than just about the badminton, with sightseeing and several social events arranged by the local hosts. Attendees also include past and present badminton players and their families, with great friendships forged across Europe and time.
This years Twinning Event is in the picturesque town of Sindelfingen, Germany. The event is taking place over the weekend of the early May Bank Holiday (30th April to 4th May) and there will be several fund raising events over the next few months to raise funds for the event
